I went to my cousins house today (they live in fern tree gully so in the bush) and I saw a king parrot waddling around in a tree but then it flew off. Later the King parrot (Alisterus) came back and was eating seeds from the grass in their garden. Me and my dad went down with their bucket of birdseed, and I put some in my hand and fed the King parrot!!! It had a smooth beak and I even gave it a little stoke on the belly. This particular one was a male because it had a red head, instead of green (which the females and juveniles have)
