On the way back from our exercise today my mum showed me a nest that had Red Wattlebird (Anthochaera carunculata) chicks inside. They were making a loud chirping noise. We knew they were Wattlebirds because there was two parents nearby hopping around in the tree. We even got the chance to see the parents feed a baby. The chicks were fully feathered and pretty big, and looked like they would learn how to fly soon.
